About the event
The plan is to set up our base camp in Telephone Canyon (near Bluff Springs) for a weekend of connection and play. Envision mornings practicing yoga while feeling the sun on your skin, enjoying a guided hike with new friends, evenings meditating under the stars, or enjoying s’mores by the campfire. Yes, please! It’s going to be amazing. We have so much magic planned for you.
Please be aware that you will need to bring your tent, sleeping bag, food, water, and other supplies. The Bluff Springs campground does have access to public restrooms; you would have to drive there. Please see the detailed packing list below for more information on what you should bring with you. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to Krystyna, Kelly, or Shaylee.
Sleeping bag (to be comfortable enough for 30-40 degrees) &/or extra blankets
Sleeping bag liner (optional)
Blanket for yoga
Water enough for 3 day/2 nights
Odor-proof bags or ice coolers; are necessary for your food storage.
First aid kit
Jet Boiler/Single or double burner with fuel canister (if needed)
Firelighter/firestarters (if allowed to have campfires)
Clothes: Enough hiking/yoga clothes for a 2-day camping trip (shirts, long sleeve, leggings, hiking pants, puffy/rain jacket, underwear, bras, and socks)
Hygiene and toilet paper/hand-held shovel/ (zip-loc bags with baking soda inside to prevent bad odors for LNT)
Food examples on what to pack: MRE, couscous, peanut butter and jelly, oranges, tuna, ramen, tasty bites, beef jerky, oatmeal, burritos, eggs, boiled eggs, sandwiches, cranberries, bananas, dates, crackers and so forth.
Ziploc/trash bags to collect your own trash
External battery packs (optional)
